This website is operated by Allison Lund Practice (“Allison Lund Practice,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
The website provides information about Allison Lund’s practice, one-to-one services, professional approach, writing, educational content, and related resources.
The website is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
Use of this website does not, by itself, create a practitioner-client relationship between you and Allison Lund.
A practitioner-client relationship is established only after both parties have agreed to work together and any required intake, booking, payment, consent, or administrative requirements have been completed.
2. EDUCATIONAL + INFORMATIONAL PURPOSE
The information provided on this website, including articles, writing, educational materials, exercises, audio content, resources, and descriptions of professional approaches, is provided for general educational and informational purposes only.
Website content is not intended to constitute individualized psychological, medical, psychiatric, therapeutic, legal, or other regulated professional advice.
Nothing on this website should be relied upon as a diagnosis, treatment recommendation, or substitute for individualized care from an appropriately qualified healthcare or regulated professional.
You remain responsible for your own decisions, wellbeing, and healthcare.
3. SCOPE OF PRACTICE
Allison Lund’s work is supportive, educational, complementary, and individually tailored.
Her practice may draw from Internal Family Systems-informed work, nervous system and Polyvagal-informed approaches, Focusing and felt-sense work, emotional and embodied awareness, trauma-informed principles, and other approaches arising from her professional training and experience.
Allison Lund is not representing herself through this website as a psychologist, psychotherapist, psychiatrist, physician, or other licensed medical or mental-health professional.
She does not diagnose or treat medical or psychiatric conditions.
Services offered through Allison Lund Practice are not a substitute for medical care, psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, or other regulated healthcare services where those services are required.
If you are currently receiving medical, psychiatric, psychological, or other regulated healthcare, you are responsible for determining, in consultation with the appropriate provider where necessary, how Allison’s work may complement your existing care.
4. EMERGENCY + CRISIS SUPPORT
Allison Lund Practice does not provide emergency or crisis services.
The website, contact form, email, introductory calls, and communication outside scheduled sessions should not be used for urgent or crisis-related support.
If you believe that you or another person may be in immediate danger, are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, or require urgent support, please contact the appropriate emergency service, crisis service, or licensed healthcare provider in your location.
5. INTRODUCTORY CALLS
Prospective clients may begin by booking a complimentary Introductory Call.
The purpose of the Introductory Call is to meet briefly, discuss what is bringing you to the work, answer questions, and explore whether working together appears to be an appropriate fit.
An Introductory Call does not create an ongoing practitioner-client relationship and is not intended to provide a full session, crisis support, diagnosis, or treatment.
Booking-specific information or terms displayed through the scheduling platform may also apply.
6. PRIVATE SESSIONS
Private sessions are currently offered online and are generally 90 minutes in length.
Sessions are individualized rather than delivered according to a predetermined programme, package, or standardized process.
Clients may work with Allison regularly or at another frequency agreed upon according to their circumstances and the nature of the work.
Sessions currently take place online using Zoom or another agreed video platform.
Service format, session duration, fees, scheduling availability, and other practical details may change from time to time. Current information will be communicated through the website, booking platform, or directly to clients.
7. PAYMENT + BOOKING
The current fee for a private 90-minute session is displayed on the Work With Me page and/or communicated through the booking process.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is required at least 24 hours before a scheduled session.
A session is not considered confirmed until any required payment has been received.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. Allison Lund Practice does not directly store complete payment-card or banking information submitted through those platforms.
Any payment-provider terms and privacy policies may also apply to transactions processed through their services.
8. CANCELLATION + RESCHEDULING
Allison Lund Practice currently operates a 24-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy.
Sessions cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.
Reasonable discretion may be exercised in circumstances involving genuine illness, emergencies, or other exceptional situations. Any discretion exercised in one situation does not create an obligation to provide the same exception in another.
If Allison Lund needs to cancel or reschedule a session, reasonable efforts will be made to arrange an alternative time.
9. SESSION + COMMUNICATION BOUNDARIES
Sessions may not be audio-recorded, video-recorded, photographed, transcribed, or otherwise recorded without Allison Lund’s express prior consent.
Communication by email, contact form, or other channels outside scheduled sessions is intended primarily for practical, administrative, or scheduling purposes unless otherwise agreed.
Communication outside sessions is not intended to replace scheduled sessions and should not be relied upon for crisis or emergency support.
Clients are responsible for ensuring, as far as reasonably possible, that they attend online sessions from a private environment with an appropriate internet connection.
10. RESULTS + INDIVIDUAL EXPERIENCES
Personal development and emotional work are highly individual.
No particular outcome, result, improvement, or timeframe can be guaranteed.
Descriptions of Allison’s approach are intended to explain how she generally works and should not be interpreted as promises that any particular method, process, or result will apply to every person.
You remain responsible for your own choices, actions, decisions, and participation in the work.
11. TESTIMONIALS
Testimonials appearing on this website reflect the personal experiences and perspectives of individual clients.
They are provided for informational purposes and should not be interpreted as guarantees or representations that another person will experience the same outcome.
Testimonials may be displayed in full or excerpted for length. Where an excerpt is used, the wording of the testimonial will remain exactly as originally supplied by the individual.

Allison Lund’s writing and email subscriptions may be hosted or distributed through Substack.
If you subscribe through Substack, your subscription and related information may be processed directly by Substack and will also be subject to Substack’s own terms and privacy practices.
Subscribers may unsubscribe using the unsubscribe tools provided through the relevant email or subscription platform.
Subscription to Allison’s writing does not create a practitioner-client relationship.
